BENTONITE clay mask .. with ACV

Happy new year and thanks for stopping by. Am kick starting the year by paying more attention to my skin. It’s the largest organ of the body and it high time I gave it some TLC.

BENTONITE clay was on of the buzz words for 2019 so I thought I would check it out for myself. I chose this mask because I want to stick to natural beauty products were possible. Also I have heard wonderful things about the purifying and cleansing properties of Bentonite clay

The video has all you need to know about putting the product together.

Here are 6 points to consider.

  1. -Ensure you buy authentic Bentonite clay for a reputable retailer. I order straight from the company to avoid issues with counterfeit products.https://www.aztechealingclay.co.uk/shop
  2. Do a skin test to ensure your skin an tolerate this movement.
  3. Do not use metals with this product.
  4. Cracking and skin tightening sensation is normal while product dries.
  5. Bentonite clay masks can cause skin to feel dry. Make sure you use a quality moisturiser after use.
  6. I suggest leaving this product for as long as you can tolerate but no more than 30 minutes. This is usually enough time for the clay to extract toxins from your skin.

I would recommend using this product twice a week.

Nyx Lip Lingerie review -EXOTIC

Just when you think you have enough lipsticks…. you come across one that’s a slightly different shade to all you already own.

Plus I could not go to the USA without buying any lipstick. I have 4 sisters and this is only lipstick left from the ones I bought 😒😒.

Really loving this lippie. It’s got a little more umph than your average nude.  This colour is described as a warm mahogany red. It’s perfect for this season.

As you all know… I have reduced the amount I spend on lipsticks significantly.  I find the cheaper ones are most times just as good as the big brands.

I love that this lipstick really dries matte. It doesn’t feel tacky like some other lipsticks do. It is also very light and does not feel cakey when I apply multiple layers.

To top it off I Don’t have to scrub my lips till it’s red raw to get the lipstick off at the end of the day.

M.A.C Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour -Red Jade review

Hey guys a flash review of the MAC matte liquid lip colour in Red Jade. This was a blind purchase in terms of buying it without actually seeing the colour in real life. My decision was based on the colour shown on the MAC site. 

This lip colour is applied as a liquid but it drys matte.  I loved these types of lipsticks because they are very long lasting and do not transfer. Although this is called a Red Jade, it has an orangy undertone.  Shades like this are very vibrant and great for the summer. I was so pleased with the colour. Totally my kinda thing. 

I had some challenges applying this lip colour. In order to avoid streaks I had to apply 2-3 coats. DO NOT pat down once the lipstick has started to dry.   I mad this mistake and had to start over because it caused clumping .

I really like the applicator. The shaping helps with going round the lips for better precision. Crochet Braids 101

Hey lovelies, are you bored of your current hairstyle?
Stick with me ….am mixing things up a bit today talking all things hair. 

I am not my hair but I love the different looks and versatility of hair extentions .

So this post should cater to all your crochet needs. Feel free to ask me any questions you might still have. I used 8 packs of the Havana Mambo twist crochet braids. Each pack contains 12 strands of pre-twisted hair. 8 packs is more than enough to give you that big hair don’t care look.

This hairstyle is super quick. It’s almost as quick as just relaxing /perming your hair. I had this hair installed by my very able sister and first time crochetter  (that word is totally made up, but you get my drift). She completed the hair in about 2 – 3 hours. That includes braiding my own hair.

The hair is super quick to install because it come pre-braided or pre- twisted ( depending on which style you purchase )

Installation is done with a crochet needle.  No threads, yes I said No THREADS needs.
So you CAN actually 😴😴😴😴 while doing your hair.

I know your wondering how I shower or bath with all this hair…. now that’s the tricky part. Didn’t realise the hair would be see full. I normally creatively tie my hair up with an old pair of tights. That’s the nest I could think of. Shower caps just wouldn’t cut it. Let me know if you have any other smart ideas.

I have had a tonne of people ask if this hair is heavy. Yes there is some weight to it but it’s NOT heavier than your normal braids. The Havana twist hair is very light. It look alot heavier than it actually is. Believe me, I would not just deliberately carry bricks on my head.  If it was that bad, this installation  would be taken out pretty much straight away.

One more thing… if you currently sleep with 2 pillows, you might wanna down grade to just one pillow will you have this hair style.  This hair is very full and bulky so it could be your second pillow.

I totally love this hair and everyone loves it too. It looks just like actual braids on first sight.

Primark- PS Matte Long Last Lipstick (Atomic) Review

So I recently lost my lipstick bag😯😯 and some fabulous lipstick shades. I was so gutted but I have been having a blast rebuilding my collection💄💄💄.

I went back to Primark for a mini haul .

This product is marketed as a matte lipstick.  I found that it’s not as drying or matte as the likes of MAC or Lime Crime. In a way I liked this.  Non of that chapped lips look .

This pink shade is called Atomic. It reminds me soo much of the Utopia by LimeCrime.  But at a fraction of the price…. winning.

Yes.. we are talking lipsticks again. As I  have previously said Lipsticks are the perfect finishing touch. 

The great face changer!

I came across L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss on my quest for cheaper alternatives. Omg ,I am totally sold out.  This lipstick applies as a liquid and dries matte. For the price it has great pigmentation.

A must have for my fellow lipstick junkies.
The price was sooo good I bought 3.

Sometimes girls just ‘wanna’ be girls. I find the colour pink to be so girly but once in a while it’s good to indulge.
When am on holiday there are no heels rules. When I can, I wear the highest heels I have and cause a lot of commotion because I know in a few days or weeks I will pack my bags and be on my way.😃😃😃😁😁😁😁

Ysl Oriental collection

I am a HUGE fan of luxury perfumes.  Sometimes I really wish I didn’t get on this wagon because once your on it…. you just keep discovering great smells… 😤😤

I have had the pleasure of trying out this collection. 
Did you know that the Supreme Bouquet is one of the most sold perfumes. … well so they told me.

It’s really difficult to chose a favourite as they are all so great but I am leaning towards the Splendid Wood.

At over £200 for 80ml this is definitely going on my 2016 want list.
