Perfect Pleats

Skirts are essentials in every ladies wardrobe.  How much better when the skirt is a midi, pleated and printed.

Yessss🙌🙌. That’s triple glory in my books.

Pleated skirts have an element of “back to school” and it reminds me of my much cherished school days.  I hated my pleated kilt skirt back then. Who would have known that I would be investing in pleated skirts now. On a more serious note, this skirt is lush and it would make the perfect center piece for every outfit.

I am obsessed with movement and this skirt has got it all and a bag of chips. Although not part of the tall range at Topshop, I just had to click buy.

The sad part of life is that you can’t always get what you want, when you want it.

So this is my secret.

When I can’t find a style in the tall range, I always check out the standard range.  Generally I can get away with a midi length in the standard range.

Ta daaa!!!

All season shoe booties

Over here in the UK seasons are everything. Yes we have a lot of cold and grey weather but amongst all that there are some priced hot sunny summer months(or weeks) too.

Today am sharing one of my all seasons trendy foot wear.  In the current financial climate I definitely get my monies worth when I invest in a pair of shoe boots as they are so versatile.

So here are a few ways I would wear mine.

Peep toe shoe boots are my ultimate favourites.
These will transform any casual outfit.
The exposed heel and toes instantly makes it fit for the summer.

Now your probably wondering how you can wear this in the winter.
I team my peep toe booties with frill socks.  You can add variety to the look with a bit of colour

This is such an oldie but goodie. A classic ! The first thing that came to mind when putting this look together was ‘I don’t want to look like a cowgirl’. Not that there is anything wrong with cowgirls or cowboys. It just was not my desired look. I personally tried to stay away from denims the same shade and weight…. You should too. image While the rips on this jeans are not visible in this picture. Ripped jeans add a element of trendiness to this look. image image Don’t be afraid to add a bright lipstick to complete the look. A pop of colour makes life more interesting. Anything from shades of pinks to reds and oh maybe a deep berry would do the trick. image Ofcourse with every outfit you must cross your T’s and dot your I’s with some accessories.
