This is my go to look for when am getting ready in a rush. Whether with a skirt or with jeans high neck tops neve let me down.
I could have completed this look with a pair of heels and it would have been a totally different ball game.

This is probably summer 2016’s hottest trend . I could not get enough of it this holiday.
I pair my cold shoulder top with my printed palazzo wide leg trousers.
I was absolutely over dressed for the trek today but I sure looked good while doing it.
It was a victorious moment when I made it to the top of the acropolis.
The views made it all worth while.
I swept my hair to the side to show off my statement earrings. I hope to write a blog post statement earring so keep an eye out for it.

Cold shoulder blouse – Marks and Spencer
Palazzo trousers – Dorothy Perkins
Mini City bag – Zara
Sandals – Hobb
The night was airy with a very cool breeze. We dined at a sea food restaurant over looking the sea….. (sigh)…bliss
I must say… the dessert was to die for.
This maxi skirt has a sown in underskirt that keeps riding up. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the feeling of flying as skirt blew in the wind.
I am totally in la la land.
On a side note.. my feet at are still very swollen. Really struggling to wear most of my footwear. Any suggestions to reduce the swelling.
Vest top – Asos
pleated maxi skirt – Marks and Spencer
Slider mules -Dorothy Perkins
Clutch bag – Topshop.

I figured that I should share what I wore to the beach since I did not leave the hotel in my swimsuit.
I find that skater dresses make pretty good cover ups.
They are great as add ons to beach wear yet very wearable when not at the beach too.
I am always pleasantly suprised at how flattering and cute this dress is.
This time I teamed it with pink flatforms and my flower headband.
Apparently I looked like a real Greek Goddess.
If your thinking Athena the goddess of wisdom then I will take it as a compliment.
Flower head band- Asos
Pink skater skirt- Dorothy perkins
Pink flatform sandals -Marks and Spencer
Handbag – Zara

I have really missed going for swims. I am a huge fan of Evans swimwear. Maybe I am partly biased because all the swimwear is fitted on me. Regardless… I just don’t think Evans get the credit they deserve at times .
I wore the paisley print swimsuit from Evans clothing. The halterneck on this style is very flattering . More than anything else I like the fact that this one piece swim suit looks like a two peice . 😋tricked ya😋.

See you soon.
As blazing hot as it is in the day times, the evenings are very chilled and breezy.
Unfortunately I didn’t pack much cover ups.
However, I think that Bardot tops are a good way of serving some shoulder sexynessssss.
I wore my Bardot bodies with skinny jeans. Simple and yet stylish.
Sadly my feet have been swollen from the heat and the flight… flats sandals and sliders are the only things that fit.
Black Bardot top- New look.
Blue high waisted jeans – Topshop
Slider mules – Dorothy perkins

So…. for the final look I added the ever classic sleeveless longline jacket.
This is every girls must have and can totally be dressed up or dressed down.
The nude colour adds a soft touch and it gives a very modern yet chic finish to the look.
Wide leg trousers are totally trending this season. The timing couldn’t have been more purrrrfect. As the weather warms up its very refreshing to have light weight, free fabrics that do not stick to your body (thighs).
-Body suit – New look.
sleeveless longline jacket – Topshop
-Scarf print wide leg trousers -Marks and Spencer.

Feeling less adventurous?
Why not break up the pyjamas inspired sets for an equally fabulously trendy look.
I ditched the wide leg trouser for a moment and opted for a pleated skirt.
The colour of this skirt is very fresh an brightens up the look.
As you can see no movement is lost with this skirt.
Ofcourse we had fun with this shot. Fighting mother nature as I hold down my hat, while keeping my bag in place and trying to strut my stuff in the middle of looking cute. 😓🙁
Anyway… I have a final take on this trend coming soon. Stay tuned.
Hope you liked this look.

I have not gone completely mad but yes we are talking about the escape of pyjamas. From the bedroom to the catwalk and now on your high-street.
It’s taken me a little while to get around to it but I am strangely liking this trend.
I must say that my 6ft tall frame lends itself well to this style.
Enough chit-chat pictures already …
I styled this looks this three ways. This is just part 1.
If your feeling bold, why not wear the matching top and bottom as I have done here .
Great accessories are essential here. Bangles, statements hand bags and fab shoes.
I also opted for bold lips and flawless makeup to avoid looking like I just woke up from sleep and rolled out of bed.
This green shoulder bag brings out the print details on this outfit and the bright pink lips makes for a great contrast.
These photos were taken on a fairly windy day and as you can see there is lots of movement in both the pants and blouse.
It’s not silk but the light polyester fabric was very cooling.
This pyjamas inspired set was bought from the trusted Marks and Spencer Autograph range.
Marks and Spencer have a long collection on certain styles. This pants were labelled long and truly the length is not bad; but it’s not for ideal for the 6ft and over club.
Fabulous shoes just about let me get away with this one.😜
Stay tuned for part 2 to see my second take on this trend/look.
What’s your take on this look?
How do you wear yours?

In the mean time, keep up with me via instagram @ijaykheavens
I have never featured so much grey on my blog or instagram (@ijaykheavens ) until now . You may have noticed that throughout the Athleisure series I have stuck to muted/neutral colours such as blacks, greys and navy. This gives great flexibility when mixing styles .
From time to time I have inserted pops of colour through my lipstick 💄, trainers etc.
Here am wearing a colourblock sweatshirt.
These are huge this season and would go perfectly with a pair of jeans or a skirt.
Hope you have found these series useful. Have fun with this trend as it’s here to stay.
