Spring 2016 Must haves-Pyjamas inspired day wear (p/t3)

So…. for the final look I added the ever classicΒ  sleeveless longline jacket.
This is every girls must have and can totally be dressed up or dressed down.

The nude colour adds a soft touch and it gives a very modern yet chic finish to the look.

image

Wide leg trousers are totally trending this season. The timing couldn’t have been more purrrrfect.Β  As the weather warms up its very refreshing to have light weight, free fabrics that do not stick to your body (thighs).

Spring 2016 Must haves-Pyjamas inspired day wear (p/t2)

Feeling less adventurous?
Why not break up the pyjamas inspired sets for an equally fabulously trendy look.

I ditched the wide leg trouser for a moment and opted for a pleated skirt.
The colour of this skirt is very fresh an brightens up the look.
As you can see no movement is lost with this skirt.

Ofcourse we had fun with this shot. Fighting mother nature as I hold down my hat, while keeping my bag in place and trying to strut my stuff in the middle of looking cute. πŸ˜“πŸ™

Anyway… I have a final take on this trend coming soon. Stay tuned.
Hope you liked this look.

Spring 2016 Must haves-Pyjamas inspired day wear (p/t1)

I have not gone completely mad but yes we are talking about the escape of pyjamas. From the bedroom to the catwalk and now on your high-street.

It’s taken me a little while to get around to it but I am strangely liking this trend.
I must say that my 6ft tall frame lends itself well to this style.
Enough chit-chat pictures already …
I styled this looks this three ways. This is just part 1.
If your feeling bold, why not wear the matching top and bottom as I have done here .

Great accessories are essential here. Bangles, statements hand bags and fab shoes.
I also opted for bold lips and flawless makeup to avoid looking like I just woke up from sleep and rolled out of bed.

image

This green shoulder bag brings out the print details on this outfit and the bright pink lips makes for a great contrast.

These photos were taken on a fairly windy day and as you can see there is lots of movement in both the pants and blouse.
It’s not silk but the light polyester fabric was very cooling.
This pyjamas inspired set was bought from the trusted Marks and Spencer Autograph range.
Marks and Spencer have a long collection on certain styles. This pants were labelled long and truly the length is not bad; but it’s not for ideal for the 6ft and over club.
Fabulous shoes just about let me get away with this one.😜

Stay tuned for part 2 to see my second take on this trend/look.

Your turn…..
What’s your take on this look?
How do you wear yours?

Spring 2016 must haves -Front slit skirt

This trend screams SEXY SPRING

Skirts are uber feminine and when you add some “thighage” you get a very sexy feminine look. This is season to flaunt your pins ladies!

I was a little worried about showing too much thick’em πŸ—πŸ—. So I opted for a mini slit rather than a high slit skirt.

Here is how I have been wearing my front slit shirts.
PS: the slit doesn’t have to be a centre slit. Side slits are just as trendyπŸ‘

Spring 2016 must haves – Metallics

Yes we are talking the tin man look. … not really, Well…. sort of. Put aside your previous perceptions of metallics. They are back with a strong presence this spring.
I think they are perfect for adding a little ‘umph’ to any outfit.

I love the following metallic pieces.
