Shoes for sandals -Travel Diaries

It’s taken over 12 hrs to get to my destination Abiriba in Nigeria. This is a small village in Abia State and am proud to say that this is where am from!
Home is differently where the heart is. Feels so good to be amongst old family and friends. I have met up with people who I have not seen for years and the catch up has been real to say the least.

Follow my travel diaries over the next few days. The Internet situation is real but bare with me as I try to keep a daily log of outfits and activities.

I barely touched down in this town and they dragged me out already.

Textures are huge this season. It’s only right we mention Velvet.
I have never known such a soft and elegant fabric.
Guys… This is not a reason to touch but it’s very tempting 😛.

I fell in love with these velvet pumps from Topshop.

I was a little unsure about the pom poms but it’s confirmed…

This is such a ‘no-brainer’. Perfect as the chill creeps in..
Turtlenecks are a staple for this season’s A/w. You will find it very hard to make it through this winter without one ( yes I mean it )

I particularly love the chunky knitted turtlenecks. Winter eat your heart out!

A-Z A/W trends 2015 -Over the knee boots

Yep! !!!!! You guessed it.
Some call it Over The Knee Boots, others OTKB, or even Thigh High Boots. With high or low heel, leather or suede. Whatever YOU call it this is a must have for this season.

Below are some of my favourite for 2015

I am still madly in love with the colour Camel and I am swaying more to the suede/ suedette look. However, peep toes get me each and every time.

I am 6ft 1 and I say yes to some heel with this trend.

One thing I have noticed about these over the knee boots is that it’s hard to find a pair that fits my large calf’s and my thick thighs 🙈🙈🙈🙈

You can never be too jewelled…. or can you.?

We see necklaces , earrings, bracelets and broches taken to the next level this Fall.

I really like this over size earring and necklace from Miu miu.. This would complete any outfit.

This season they say more is less but I think Givenchy took it way out. Let me know your thought below.

I can’t help but think the accessories here are rather distracting from the gorgeous dresses💭💭

Hey Guys,

So we are half way through the A-Z A/W 2015 trends. A huge thank you for all your support and time spent reading my posts thus far.

Ok, we are talking about the Margot Tenenbaum trend . This links in well with the “G” of geeky goes chic post . However Margot deserves her own blog post as her look inspired several designers such as Gucci and Lacoste this season.

Firstly you will need to get the hair cut right. Straight cut bob or lob with the trademark hair clips.

The long faux fur jacket.

The loafer shoes

The right clothing include tennis dresses , pleated midi skirts. You see were we are going.

Top hold tote bag

And you can’t forget the black eye pencil to complete the look.

There you have it. The very trending Margot Tenenbaum inspired look.

Today we are talking HEELS,
I don’t just mean any type of heel, but block , chunky heels.
I am so glad these are hot off the runway.

As a tall and plus size woman I find that there is alot of strain on my knees and wearing heels can often make this worse. I can’t bring myself to do away with my heels but whenever I can I prefer to opt for a chunky heel instead.

Check out how these are worn in the a/w 2015 fashion show.

These boots from Lanvin were made for talking. You know they will be supper comfortable with those chunky heels.

I am also a huge fan these shoes from Anthony Vaccarello. Bling on shoes feature several times on the runway this season.

The barely off the ground sparkly shoes from Mui Mui are the business. I wouldn’t be rushing out to buy these but you see where am going with this trend.
