I know am not alone in my love for navy.  I can’t quite explain it but something about this colour looks so royal… and ….rich;).

This is why most ladies would melt at the sight of a man in a navy suit 😍.

I was oozing navy in my all navy attire.
This midi slit dipped hem shift dress works wonders for am effortless chic look. Although not a tall garment the length is just right.

Dubai May 2015

This has been a long re-occurring dream come true.
I was very strategic in my booking as Dubai can be a very expensive holiday.
I secured my flight with British Airways fairly early on to avoid having to pay through my nose.

As for the hotel, I price watched on Booking.com for the best detail.

Did you know that booking.com gives some superb deals. Plus on some deals you can get FREE cancellations on your reservation.
So that’s exactly what I did. I made my reservation and when I saw that Booking .com had a discount on the same hotel just 2 weeks later, I cancelled my first reservation ( free of charge) and re-booked .
Now that’s how you get a bargain holiday.

Au natural

Every now and then I get this urge  to clean up my act!
I usually become best friends with the whole food aisle at my local Sainsburys.

My dear friend was just telling me about the important of putting natural products both inside and outside the body.
Your skin has pores and apparently 60% of what is applied to the skin is absorbed into the blood stem.

I recent discovered Love and Toast

It smells gorgeous and I can’t believe it’s natural. I have been using it in the 40 degrees Dubai sun and it doesn’t change smells like most fragrances do in the heat.

Made with Natural alcohol, Petrolatum free, Paraben free, Phthalate free, No animal ingredients.

Great for those moments when you need to freshen up. The honey and coconut blend is absolutely refreshing. 

I got mine from Amazon, can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the honey and coconut collection.

Delight in White

Without a doubt you too have noticed the white wipe-out trend.  It’s all well and good if you are a size 8(hiss) but when we have heard “White makes you look bigger” for years, this is not a trend that many will feel confident enough to follow.

In all honestly, while some colours can be more flattering than others, nothing makes you slimmer than to be Confident. And that means wearing and experimenting with colours and trends in a way which makes you feel comfortable.  That’s exactly what I did by adding some neutral shades to the mix.  Do not worry, I will be braving the total White Wipe-out trend very very soon.  Until then, delight in some white ;-D

I find that adding different gradients of white helps to break up the look.!

I am in love with the print, colour and general shaping of this dress.  It is flattering and #fashionedaroundmycurves. However, the cool 100% cotton fabric makes this dress slightly on the snug side.  On the brighter side you can be snugged yet cool???

Whether it’s mini, midi or long, a black dress is a must have. Three years later (dont judge me I have hoarding tendencies) I teamed mine with a leather Obi waist belt and Tan peep toe boots
